Rezai up 6-2 against Venus. She's SO good!

Bob and Mike win #61 to tie the record of the legendary Woodies!!!

SO happy for the Boys, what a great job and the season is still young! :cheer2:

I actually also really dig Nestor, so seeing him battle it with Zimonjic against the Boys is quite fun!

Wow, huge wins for Rezai this week!

Yep. I am officially a fan of Aravane Rezai, even though she beat my two faves (JJ and Venus) this week. Her game is UBER exciting, she's hot, she has great hair and wears gold lamé. Lovezit!

I'm bummed - my net connection wasn't working well enough to watch Rafa/Fed @ Madrid this afternoon.

Also, I hadn't been following tennis much the past couple months, so didn't know about Clijsters, etc. being out of RG until I read this thread today.

Does anyone know what she'll be ranked after this tournament? It's really hard to say who the favorite is for the FO now. I think a lot of women have a chance (including Venus, which is pretty scary ). The draws will play a big part IMO.

^She'll be number 15 on Monday!

The womens draw is WIDE open - still can't look past Henin though, as the favourite, IMO.

Thanks, Loves_Shizuka. Big jump! I bet she'll live up to her seeding at the FO too.

Yes, if I had to pick anyone, it would be Henin. She's got a great head for competition, she's won the FO multiple times, and she loves clay. It would nice to see Dementieva do well too.

sadly, Demented is totally lost at the moment :fragile: She even lost to her bitch Ivanovic :wuzrobbed

I honestly have no idea who will win the FO, either. But I would pick Henin as well. Venus to lose early as usual.

Agree, re:, JH being heavy favorite. If it weren't for her, I'd be bracing for an "Iva Majoli moment" at Roland Garros 2010. (Or at the least a "Mary Pierce moment".)

^I loved Iva Majoli. She was so much fun and I actually liked her game. She actually had a personality, which can be a rarity at the top of any sport.

Who I WANT to win: JJ or Venus
But really, that's comedy wishing. What do we think of the chances of Serena, Stosur and Caro?

My odds to win the French Open would be:

Justine- 60%
Jelena J- 15%
Serena- 5%
All the Russians combined- 5%
Stosur- 5%
The other top players I have mentioned yet all combined- 5%
An out of the blue shock like the Rome and Madrid winners- 5%

I don't see Stosur's nerves holding up.
And I don't think Caroline has the game, much less on clay, when she's been injured and is idiotically playing Warsaw.
Me at the thought of either of those two winning = :scream: :yikes:

I'm going out on a limb and picking Alona Bondarenko. ;)
