Yeah, it was much better than yesterday's final!

Congrats to Andy, he played well.

Maybe it's only me, but isn't it a bit too gay?

Not gay enough!

Maybe it's only me, but isn't it a bit too gay? The ending bodes well for making a 2nd part:summer::2faced:

Totally! Can't wait for the sequel!

BTW, is it just me or has the tennis season been completely boring so far?

(((( Martina )))) She seems pretty confident of a full recovery, but of course very shaken by the discovery.

That ad actually dates back to 2003... don't think there ever was a sequel, sorry. :)

I was just coming to post about Martina but see it was already posted. If that doesn't prove that cancer can happen to ANYONE then nothing will. She has to be in as good shape as any 50+ year old can be. So glad to hear the prognosis is "excellent."

Some, uh, interesting results in Marbella:

[Q]Beatriz Garcia Vidagany (ESP) def. Kim Clijsters 75 46 64 :o
Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez (ESP) def. Victoria Azarenka 0-4 ret. (left thigh injury)

:shuffle:

Sucks for Vika, as she was absolutely on a roll. As for Kim...well, I didn't expect her to do well after years off the clay, but this is slightly worse than expected. :o I think Garcia is ranked somewhere in the 300s. Great win for her, though.

I don't know, I totally expected Kim to lose early here... doesn't matter who it is. Surprised she didn't lose to Dulgheru. She is exhausted after Miami and hasn't played on clay in ages. So I'm hardly surprised by the loss.

According to the US Men's Clay Court website:

"In the doubles match Saturday, Mike Bryan will be playing in an ATP World Tour for the 100th time in his career, and it will be the 97th for his twin brother Bob."

At least it wasn't 6-0, RET

I am wondering when we'll see the next retirement from her....
