Venus/Marion = Hot Mess

Can't wait for 9 PM tonight

OH MY GOD, what a ****ing ridiculous match. I had multiple heart attacks. The chokes from both were just nuts... there were some great points as well though. Some clutch play from Kim even though she choked and choked and choked.

Lol, Kim v Juju = hot mess x 3535490352958013

Well done Kim! Based on the semi's, the final should be HILARIOUS.

Can't believe that it's been 11 months since Rafa's last title. Wow.

OMG I can't believe it either

Roddick/Nadal should be an interesting semi today. Just looked at their head to head and Nadal leads 5-2 winning the last 3. Haven't played since last year at Indian Wells. Roddick last won in 08 in Dubai. Wish it were the finals instead of the semi's.

Soderling/Berdych is not a bad match-up just not as intriguing.

ANDYROO!!! :cheer2:

He's volleying much better, alot more attack on the short balls.

Keep it up, kid, the season is still young!

WOW, good for Andy!

Rafa's troubles against top tenners continues; some people are saying that Nadal will NEVER return to the very top and play like he did before the injury; what do we think? Have to say he's struggling more than I expected, but I still wouldn't rule him out; I think this years RG will be quite telling.

Berydch hammered SOderling, which surprises me. Great to see him back up the Feds win though!

I dont think Rafa will ever win another non French personally. He could win the French again but it wont ever be the shoo in it used to be there for him either. So no I dont think he will ever reach #1 again.

If Kim vs. Justine was a hot (but very entertaining mess), what the heck was that?

Just horrible. Happy for Kim, but matches like this make me want to stop watching. Serena needs to come back soon (and I can't stand when she wins, but at least maybe it would be better if we get more Serena vs Kim matches) .

I expected Kim to win; I did not expect such a beatdown
Absolutely nothing working for Venus today; it was awful to watch.

Welcome back to top 10 Kim!

Youzhny and Plushenko lollipop commercial.

Maybe it's only me, but isn't it a bit too gay? The ending bodes well for making a 2nd part:summer::2faced:
Congrats Kim, BTW

I'm not surprised; Venus may have reached the final but she's been a hot mess doing it, and personally I think a match-up with Kim is a bad one for her, because Clisjters often exploits Venus' weaknesses to the MAX.

Congrats Kim!

Now we see why so many people picked Kim to win the Australian Open. She just had a bad day vs Petrova. I think otherwise she might well have won there. I am not sure either Henin or Serena were up to beating her there in hindsight.

It is funny now too since it seems virtually everyone expects Justine to win the French despite that she didnt win an event on hard courts early this year. However it might be Kim who ends up winning the French instead. I am pretty sure it is going to be one of those two. It sure wont be a Williams, and I dont imagine it will be a Russian. Jankovic could do it maybe as well.

^I'd LOVE to see JJ finally bag one. Or even Dementieva! Won't happen, but i'd love it.

Well done, Andrew! :cheer2:

There were some incredible rallies in the final few games!
