If hips can glow :shuffle:, then :glamor: lipstick can smell, non?

thanks for bringing "Balkan Girls" back to FSU life. off to youtube :D!
btw, Romania never fails to deliver voids (Sanda, "Balkan Girls", "Playing with Fire, Lumnita, Nicola etc)!

IMO, it feels like Safura is too busy with the diction of the English lyrics, which makes it look like she is not connected to the song.
I'm sure the result would have been totally different if she sang at least part of it in Russian or Azerbaijani (in which I presume she is a fluent speaker).

It can be a good reason. Objectively I think that is a good song and should finish high, but personally I miss something. There are other songs probably with less musical value but that I certainly enjoy more. Anyway I´m musically speaking deaf ;)

I sent my votes, I was really fast (for my standard) this year :D

"France" has cast it's votes. I can't say that we had much love for Safura.

this is really embarrassing.

I just sent the link to the Spanish song to my romantic interest with the accompanying message that the song reminds me of him. Which was supposed to be a sign of affection, as the Spanish song is my favorite this year. I never bothered to run the lyrics though babelfish, however.

My romantic interest, understanding spanish, interpreted my message a bit differently.

:slinkaway:

Ouch.

Don't try this at home kids!

(At least we had a good laugh afterwards ;) )

Definately!

:lynch:

And I was very surprised by Elena's voice. I had in mind a crappy singer, but I really enjoyed her singing.

One question just to kill my curiosity: which are your three favourite female voices that you've heard on Eurovision?

:P

Mine are Vânia Fernandes, Edyta Górniak and Shiri Maimon.
