It's so rediculous to speculate that Johnny could get a medal at Vancouver Olympics, especially from Johnny himself. He might be able to move up a place from sixth but that was about as high as he could go. Good for him that he could feel that he's as good as having an Olympic medal.;) It's just getting annoying. I like Evan better and better everyday.:P

Who does Johnny believe shouldn't have been on the podium for himself to be there? Has anyone asked him and why?

Well, two male medalists from the same country has been something of a rare event at the Olympics. I believe Yags and Plush were the only such example in the past fifty years, and I'd argue that those two were indeed well ahead of the rest of the field at that time.

I wasn't a skating fan for most of this period, so I can't say if it was politiks or merit that led to this pattern.

In 1994, it was Kurt Browning singling his double axel in the SP after missing the flip that prevented two Canadian men on the Olympic podium. Given that Browning and Stojko had been 1-2 in the world the year before and went 2-3 in the long program at the Olympics, I have no doubt the judges panel would have had both in medal position if they had merited it.

Since when did he skate clean? He missed a spin. Sigh. Journalists.

Great article. :) I, too, think he should try everything before his next career, whatever that will be. (Haters can gtfo.)

He's so cute and he DID pick the winner! I wonder how much he won. Not as much as that dude who bet $100K and won!

The ones that inhabit the world?

The "world" of delusional ubers, maybe.
The world of people who think a large-brimmed woman's picture hat looks ridiculous on a man, especially combined with a butt-ugly jacket, is probably somewhat larger....

I have no problems with the jacket, it just looks to be a little too warm for the season. :)
