I wore Matin Calin yesterday at home. It's such a cozy scent but has poor staying power. Today is once again cold so I will wear my sample of the Fleur Defendue. Time to order the full size bottle!

Two scents I'd love to get are Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan (cold weather) and Ricci Ricci by Nina Ricci (Warm). Has anyone used either of them?

Cashmere mist might be too... I want to say deep, but someone mentioned too old. Like my mother would wear it, but not me. I kind of don't care. :P

Sometimes I wear Obsession for Men layered with a spritz of Vanilla Lace body spray from Victoria's Secret. :D

Today I chose Kenzo Amour.

I wore Cashmere Mist for over 10 years (late 20s to late 30s) and always received compliments. One exBF used to say that it smelled soft and sweet, but most definitely not innocent :saint: .

I still like it; I just got burnt out after wearing it for so many years. Nowadays I wear Romance by Ralph Lauren, or during hot weather, White Linen Fresh Breeze (in the green box) by Lauder.

Lancome's fragrances are the epitome of reeking of "old ladies at church." :yikes: :scream: . Cannot stand any of them.

There was one notable exception in the 70s and 80s which is now only available at Saks--Climat. It's to die for.

But otherwise agreed--eau de old lady at the temple.

Comptoir Sud Pacifique launched a new fragrance Coco Figue in their Eaux de Voyage line. I plan to buy it for a very dear friend's birthday to wear in spring and summer.

ETA to include the notes:
It opens with a LOT of fig and coconut, goes through a warm almond milk middle and ends up in vanilla-land with once again a hint of almond and fig. Great for a day on the beach or a Hawaiian vacation.

Again, wore Matin Calin to bed for aromatherapy and today, casual Saturday will wear my hubby's beloved Pink Sugar.
