Infusion Iris by Prada!!

LaVanilla Vanilla Grapefruit. The citrus keeps it from being too sweet and my husband loves it and my skin and allergies do not react to it.

It's supposed to evoke the feelings of the "blue hour" right at twilight. It's a member of the chypre family. I'll get the notes for you.

I have a bottle but haven't worn it for awhile. My 18 year old daughter says it's an "old lady smell," but what does she know? :D Some folks claim to detect a slight "playdough" note in it, but I don't get that at all.

As fas a vintage Guerlains go, I prefer Mitsouko and Chamade.

Thanks, nubka and thanks for starting this thread. I don't wear Guerlain, much less vintage Guerlain and don't know much about their fragrances.

Have you and mlp tried their Sugar Lychee? Yum!

I have and I love it! A lot of perfumes always smell too mature or strong for me, but theirs always seem to work.

Yup, Fresh is an excellent line for perfume-haterz. ;)

Since I'm a total perfume addict, and change often, on my bathroom shelf these days you can find :
- Je Reviens by Worth (very vintage !)
- Image by Cerutti (unfortunately discontinued now)
- L'Eau by St Dupont
- Gold by DKNY
- America by Perry Ellis (discontinued but found in an outlet store in Denver this summer)
- Nocturne by Caron
- Splendor by Liz Arden
- Red Door by Liz Arden

But there are lots of others I love and use to wear, my most regulars being 1st by Van Cleef & Arpels, White Linen by E. Lauder, Diorissimo by Dior, Joy by Patou (this one I wear almost only uh... in bed :o), Light Blue by Dolce & Gabanna and Liu by Guerlain.

It starts off quite sharp, almost "green" and slightly medicinal, but dries down to a beautiful slightly powdery/vanilla base. It's very different to anything I've ever tried before, and I find that I can't stop smelling my wrist when I'm wearing it!

Today I wore Angel by Thierry Mugler.

Angel is classified as a refreshing, oriental, woody fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of vanilla, sandalwood, and patchouli. Accompanied by fruity notes of fresh citrus, melons, peaches, and plums.
