Unfortunately I think sagging boobs are genetic, although it probably doesn't hurt to always wear a bra in case it does help. My 30E friend even wears a bra to sleep, which makes me feel glad I practically have no boobs to begin with! (They still might sag, but they won't have as far to go! ) Eh, if it REALLY bothers people there's always surgery. Or just accepting that the human body changes with time...

The problem is that the big saggy boobs hurt. They hurt your back and they cut in to your shoulders. In the summer, my shoulders bleed from the chafing of my bra straps. I actually get blisters. But, I am not big enough for insurance to pay for a reduction and I can't afford to pay for it myself. So, I'm out of luck. I guess, I have no choice but to accept my big long boobs ;).

Another reason why I'm glad I have small boobs.

Have you gotten properly sized, though? I know I have no idea what it's like to NEED support, but I've always been told that if a bra is sized correctly, the straps are almost an afterthought. (I've never heard my 30E friend complain about her shoulder straps, but she wore a 32D before and just lived with it. Plus she's still young and they haven't started to sag yet...) Bra manufacturers need a technological boost if the best they can come up for well-endowed women are straps that make their shoulders bleed! I think there's more of you now than us IBTC women!

When I was young I always wished a woman's shoulder were built with a groove to keep my purse strap from slipping. Be careful what you wish for. I have no irritation, but the grooves are so huge that when my massage therapist runs her thumbs along my shoulder they just drop into a big indentation. :yikes:

Cyn, I don't know when I'll be out shopping next, but I will look around. If I find some, I can get them to you if you want. :)

Aw, thanks, KimKom :) - I appreciate the offer, but as of right now, I have three of them, so unless there's some freak burglary and my make-up is stolen, I'm in good shape, stock-wise.

If anyone is interested in these products, their website is here (http://www.clubmodele.com/). I clicked on the "Where to Buy" link, and the stores in Canada listed are:

Jean Coutu
London Drugs
Pharma Plus
PharmaSave
Rexall
Uniprix
Shoppers Drug Mart

There's also a website, agelessshop.com (http://www.agelessshop.com/HR/default.asp) to order online, but the products are full-price (that damned $29.99 USD) plus shipping.

If I'm feeling up to it, I'm going to continue my Rite-Aid phone-a-thon, and if they still have any product in stock, put it on hold and buy it at the clearance price.

ETA: It's also available on Amazon, but the cost on that site is $15.99 plus shipping.

Yes, I've ben fitted. I usually wear/wore a 32 DD. What I really need is a 34D cup/width across the front. But my rib cage is smaller than a 32. My back is very narrow. So, I have a few bras that are 34Ds taken in, but because I sag, they ride up in the back and the pressure is still on my shoulders.

Back when my boobs were huge, I had the same problem with indentations/grooves "carved" into my shoulders, which drove me nuts (in addition to making my back and neck hurt even worse.

I got fitted at Nordstroms (they do it for free there), and I was able to find a couple of bras that not only gave great support on the front and sides, they also had some sort of gel-like padding on the portion of the straps that hit the shoulders. It didn't make the pain disappear, but it made it far less miserable.

What also sucks for those with big bazoongas is that a good support bra costs a fortune. I about freaked when I had to start paying $60-70 dollars per bra, but there wasn't much choice if I wanted one with a good fit, good support, and decent comfort.

I'm convinced underwires were designed by one of Satan's minions :EVILLE: . Those fcukers often hurt more than the shoulder straps :wall: .

Do you have any history of back problems that have required a doctor's care and/or physical therapy? If so, that's one way to have a reduction covered by insurance. I have a couple of girlfriends who were able to have their insurance pay for their reductions.

One friend in particular, had a nightmare of a problem. She was 5'1" tall, and was a size 2 pants (she also wore a size 4 1/2 shoe, to give you an idea of how petite she was). Her bust, however, was another story - she was a 32E, and when she shopped for shirts, she had to buy size 12-14 and have them altered. I'll never forget how upset she was when she was shopping for her prom dress - absolutely nothing fit her, and anything that fit her in the bust looked like a tacky Mother-of-the-Bride dress (this was back in the late '80s), and she finally had to have a dress custom-made. In addition to the shopping issues, her posture was constant hunched over from the sheer weight of her chest, making her look even shorter, and she often felt like she looked like a freak.

Her HS graduation present was a breast reduction. From what she told me, between both of her boobs, they removed almost 800 grams of breast tissue. IIRC the average breast implant is something like 250 grams, so that should give you a ballpark idea of how much was removed.

After the reduction, she was still a very healthy C, and the difference was absolutely amazing. Not only did she look fantastic, she felt so much better about herself, was far less self-conscious about how she looked, and was finally able to find clothes that fit her without have to have a zillion alterations.

Ugh, yeah I think those sort of fit issues happen to everybody, although it's obviously more detrimental for women who need the support like you. Most B cups don't fit me because the cups are too big in volume, but I do need the width in the front. Luckily I've found a few brands that work pretty well.

I wonder if there's a market for custom-made bras...of course they'd be super-expensive but at least you know they'd fit. :o

Yeah, my aforementioned 30E friend dropped $80 on a single sports bra, but she described it as "magic." No more doubling bras for her! She even used to wear three sports bras during tae kwon do so they wouldn't get in her way.

Their panties last a pretty long time, though.

Really? Their briefs fit me great, so I bought a bunch, but I've gotten like 3 holes in 3 nearly-new pairs in the last month. One just completely came apart from the elastic at the waist. I am pretty sure I don't have a pointy vag, so

Bump!

Wish I could add anything to help on the bra talk... I don't have boobs, I have two zits: one on each side of the chest

**
I have been treating a large melasma on my forehead with a hydroquinone based product for about 3 months now. The spot was an 11 against my 3 skin (the higher the number, the darker). After 2 months, it was a 7. Me, happy :)
**
I've been visiting my father on the countryside for 10 days on vacation, and my hair and skin were just wonderful. I didn't need any extra products on the hair. The tap water there is mineral water (!!). When I came back to the big city trated water, it went bad again... Think I'm going to start washing my hair with mineral water from the supermarket...
**
I'm now on a two-colors-per-week nail polish habit. I can't stand looking at the same color on my hands for more than 3 days :drama:

I was watching some TV show last night. A sitcom. this woman says one of her boobs is longer than the other . Then another woman says that she saw them, that they look like socks filled with sand! I almost wet my pants!

Rules of Engagement. I alternately hate and enjoy that show.

Well, I'm comparing them to Old Navy panties, so maybe that's why. The elastic has kept up pretty well compared to Old Navy, which started to stretch and wrinkle and lose their elasticity pretty quickly.

I'm also notoriously gentle with my stuff. I finally had to get rid of some shirts and jeans I'd been wearing since high school. :shuffle: And my Ikea dresser is still going strong after 20 odd years.

Yes! That was it. I have only seen it a few times I can't stand David Spade, so it's not something I make an effort to watch. But last night was funny!

I love Calvin Klein microfiber panties. I get them at Costco or at outlets. They are so comfy and last for years.

Ugh, I can't stand the p-word! I just say underwear. :)

I would like to try the new Revlon Grow Luscious mascara, but...

1. I've never liked any Revlon mascara that I've ever tried
2. I might just be intrigued by the color of the tube (green) and the purported size of the brush (same size as Diorshow)
