I agree about the Juliet/Sawyer thing. Juliet was such a good person compared to Sawyer's rough around the edges quality. She balanced him out well.

I think Kate/Jack have much better chemistry than Kate/Sawyer. You can tell Kate loves Jack.

And Elizabeth Mitchell has had way more chemistry with both Matthew Fox and Josh Holloway than Evangalina ever had - even the steamy cage sex scene seemed to be too overblown IMHO!!
See, I have felt that both Kate and Juliet had better chemistry with Sawyer than with Jack. I could buy Juliet and Jack together a bit more, but let's face it, Josh Holloway the actor and Sawyer the character both have way more heat in them than Matthew Fox/Jack.

In fairness to Fox, Sawyer's character is one who has always done well with women, while Jack's is one who has been bruised by divorce and has way too many personal issues to be able to open up to women or let himself go. He's a guy who worries a lot about doing the right thing and being in control, which isn't going to generate as much heat as a bad boy charmer naturally will.

Yeah I agree Jenny.

I'll say that up until the last 6- 8 episodes, I've always loved Sawyer more, but seeing how Jack has sort of come off his high horse and is really trying to do the right thing and is open to more, he's become WAY more attractive to me. Not to mention the times when he's really opened up or had an emotional moment, when it's so rare. Matthew Fox has been really underrated on the show IMO.

Well, that's why I used both actor and character names...but I watched Party of Five for the first time last year and Fox had zero chemistry with his fiance on that show, too.

I'm not slamming Fox - I think he's grown tremendously throughout the run of this show and is capable of showing a lot of emotion, but he doesn't have a natural sexual chemistry with the ladies. And Sawyer wouldn't smoulder the way he does if there wasn't something of it in Holloway already.

I'm not a fan of James and Julliet. Their chemistry as actors were better before they became a couple. I always Liked Jack and Kate and I have no real idea why because off island she was a nothing and he was a pretty good doctor and two would never would have considered a relationship. Maybe that's appeal. Then again the same could be said about Sulliet as well. Any way Matthew Fox supposedly finds it hard to fake romantic chemistry because he loooves his wife so much. I do remember that there was a time though that if you questioned the chemistry between Charlie and Kristin you were nothing short of evil! Believe me I know. As an actor Matthew Fox is in a whole other league compared to his performance as Charlie. As a romantic lead he's pretty much the same. IMO.

That's true. I'd pick a dimpled man with messy hair and a southern accent over a clean cut all-American type any day. :)

Interesting point - although apparently Josh Holloway is madly in love with his wife too.

Personally, unlike many, I liked the idea of Sawyer and Charlotte together in sideways world. Two of the smartest people among our cast, and the idea of a studious artsy sexy type with a sexy cop who is good at what he does is kinda cool, at least to moi. ;)
