Latest news is that Portugal ended up making it, and that they are still trying hard to get the Russian WAG team there. It seems the Men are definitely out.
Armenia are out.

Here is a nice article about Great Britain's male juniors who just won the junior team competition at the European Championships. Switzerland was 2nd with France 3rd.

Police say two-time Olympic rhythmic gymnastics champion Natalia Lavrova of Russia has been killed in a car accident.
Traffic police spokesman Vitaly Ivanov said in a televised statement that a car driven by Lavrova's sister collided Friday with another vehicle near Penza, about 330 miles southeast of Moscow. He said Lavrova and her sister died instantly.
The 25-year-old Lavrova is Russia's only rhythmic gymnast to win two Olympic gold medals — in team competitions at the Sydney and Athens Olympics in 2000 and 2004.
That is so sad especially given Russia lost another gymnast late last year also in a traffic accident. R.I.P.
Senior European men's qualifying results. France is in the lead followed by Germany and Great Britain.

What teams, if any, will not make it to Europeans? Did most of them work it out? I know the Russian men were out but did the women make it?
I believe the Russian women will be at the Euros. As for the men, Ukraine and Belarus, also did not make it to the men's competition. According to IG forum Russia's senior team will be; Mustafina, Semenova, Nabieva, Kurbatova, Myzdrikova. While the juniors will be; Komova, Paseka, Grishina, Malikova, Sidorova.

2. GB :cheer: :cheer2:
3. France :cheer:
The Brits have such depth, they left Theo Seager (last year's vault finalist at worlds ) out  I feel bad for him, I think he would definitely have had a chance at an individual medal on vault here.
On the sad side, it seems Daniel Keatings in not living up to expectations this year. He hasn't been doing that well all season, and only made one apparatus final... His scores today aren't good.
Congratulations to Germany. They used to be quite the force in gymnastics years ago and it seems now they are as strong as ever. Nice to see. Also nice to see GB doing so well. I have faith that Daniel Keatings will get stronger as the season goes on. :cheer:

Hurrah for Daniel Keatings winning gold on PH AND beating Lewis Smith! :cheer:
Mitch Fenner is on crack today though going on about Keatings looking down on his opponents as mere mortals from up above

I can't what :fragile: but... :cheer: for Keatings, and all the British Juniors! I'm also glad Daniel Purvis got an individual medal. He deserves it after his team contribution.
Where did Louis Smith finish?
