Ferlito confident on beam. Those turns seemed a bit short, though.

Tan lovely on beam. A couple of balance checks. I prefer Komova's routine because it flows a lot better. Still, it should be quite close. 15.350

After 3 rotations:

1. Komova
2. Tan
3. Ferlito
4. Sasada
5. Gomez Porras :cheer:

13.700 for Bulimar. From all the hype on her floor ex I was kind of expecting more from her. Loving Bulimar and Porras as newly found BFF :lol:

Sasada lands her VT on her knees - she'd have the bronze wrapped up if she'd landed that.

Aww thought Carlito was going to stick 4 for 4 on floor but she did really welll to save the last landing. I think Sasada will get bronze though.

Ferlito gets 13.950 on FX and beats Sasada by .05. Ferlito was really confident on FX and stuck most of her passes cold. Ferlito and coach are delighted; Sasada in tears. She only has herself to blame for that one.

Cannot express how much I hate Tan's FX choreography.

14.4 for Tan! A little high, I think, given her landings. Oh well.

Komova. A bit shaky on the first pass but sticks second one cold. Turns better today, I think. GUSH. Love her. She's got it! 8 for 8, baby. :respec:

She gets congrats from Ferlito as she gets off the floor.

14.9! 61.250 total. I thought she was way better here than in qualification even if the score is only slightly higher :)

Komova is AMAZING!!!! :respec:

I agree she should have scored higher certainly on bars today. I wonder if she'll pull out her double arabian dismount for the beam finals to compete with Tan?

I hope so, that would be great to watch. She seemed determined to win beam today. Tan was a bit shaky, but you can't count on that.

Komova was just outstanding today. Wow. 61.250 and I still think she was a little robbed :lol:

Komova just has to stay healthy for London. I sure hope the gymnastics gods are kind because she really is awesome. Now I'm going to have to look up her teammate!

I liked Tan on beam too, you could tell she was happy to beat Komova somewhere. Vika is worthy of all the hype and more. I have a feeling we may not have seen the last of Tan. She looks like she has some fire. She's got a lot of work to do though if she wants to be competitive with Komova.
