mini-package page (http://www.northcarolina2011.com/mini-packages.html)
mini-package order form (http://www.northcarolina2011.com/documents/TicketOrderFormNewPackages_002.pdf)

They've also started selling a weekly parking pass (http://www.northcarolina2011.com/transportation.html), but only through Ticketmaster.
Cost is $55, but with ticketmaster fees it is $60.05.

Thanks for the parking pass link, just got mine and even got money off of it using my Amex points! :)

Thanks HisWeirness :) I had seen the ability to order the weekend package directly through ticketmaster online before though....and now I don't see it.

I guess my mom and I can mail in the form instead.
Here is the ticketmaster link for all of the packages. (http://www.ticketmaster.com/search?tm_link=tm_homeA_header_search&q=us+figure+skating+championships&search.x=36&search.y=21) (It's the red button on both the all event and mini-packages pages). I don't know why on ticketmaster you cannot order the packages until Aug. 27. Maybe there is a price change pre-Aug 27 vs. post-Aug 27. hmmm....

Direct ticketmaster Link to Weekend Package (http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0E004503CB249C73?artistid=844391&majorcatid=10004&minorcatid=36)

MINI-PACK AND ALL-EVENT TICKETS WILL BE MAILED FROM THE GREENSBORO COLISEUM IN DECEMBER.
The Weekend Package includes sessions 15-20.
This means the Men's SP on Friday through all of the Free skates/dances and then the Exhibition.

Good! I think I'll get one soon too. Maybe I'll try calling the organizers and see if they will have another way to purchase the pass. With the avg. cost of arena event parking being $10 around here (NC), I think it is a good deal, esp. if you want in-and-out privileges to get food or take a nap.

Thanks for the link! :)

It's weird, they were previously available to buy online, I thought. Maybe they put a hold on them on a certain day, until the 27th? Freakin confusing tickets lol.

According to twitter, the local "media sponsor" from Greensboro, Fox 8, is out in Colorado covering Champs Camp. :cheer: for them. I love to see the local businesses really supporting the championships (like Spokane that did a great job with the event)

Hope it drums up more hype for it so there's a good turn-out :)

My mom and I are buying our weekend packages tomorrow.

Parking pass actually doesn't look like a bad deal. I won't be staying at an "offical" hotel so will need to drive.

Thanks for the parking pass link. I was wondering how much I was going to have to shell out for parking during the week.

So bought the weekend packages online...but apparently they were only available for international will call....so we had to choose "US outlying islands" to get the purchase to go through....as far as we could tell anyhow. Either way...we have tickets lol

Saw a billboard ad for Greensboro nationals all the way out in Princeton, NC on US 70 heading west.

So for the senior events we will see all disciplines in the span time of 4 days? :) Not like last year when we had to wait two weeks...for the next two disciplines.

That was only for the Olympic year, thank goodness. Note to NBC and USFSA - please don't do that again in 2014!

Not exactly related, but I was checking out the scheduled matches for the US Open and noted that John Isner's home town is Greensboro! At 6'9" and the holder of the record for having won the longest match in Wimbledon (and possibly tennis history), I thought it would be appropriate to point him out and that it might provide a bit of interesting trivia :D

Wanted to note...I went to UNC-Greensboro and live an hour from Greensboro...so if anyone has any questions on the area I'd be glad to help. :)

Note for shoppers : There's a 4-story mall in Greensboro :D

Another way to support the economy of Greensboro. The FSU multiplier effect. ;)

You think they actually care about what we want....
