All I have to say is come on Sens!! I hate Crosby so much. Just because people call you a superstar doesn't give you the right to dive and not get called for it!

Vancouver's PK is atrocious. It was at 41.7% going into this game and they're 0 for 2 tonight.
Good God.

Caunucks took advantage of some dumb Kings plays, and Luongo stopped two breakaways. A deserved win...darn it! :wall:

I have had it with Bettman. It seems to be that he and the hockey gods got into kahoots with each other and are determined that the following should happen
1 - no Canadian teams are to get beyond the first round
2- any team from the U.S. that is an original 6 is not to get any lucky breaks either
3- teams from the south will get calls in their favour almost all of the time (many non-calls against the Capitals comes to mind the most and Ovie really should be called more for those hits of his when his skates leave the ice)
4- continue to tell everyone that there is no conspiracy against teams in Canada. We like having teams there because those stupid Canuck fans support their teams and it makes for more $$$ to support those teams in the south who can't support themselves.
OK, tongue taken out of cheek now :)
Seriously, Bettman has been bad for hockey and I seriously wish he would
just.go.away.from.hockey.forever.
That being said, really pleased Vancouver has notched their series at two each, still pulling for Chicago to win their series, happy Lindy Ruff is upset (I love watching him and his reactions), wishing the Habs and the Senators could take their series to seven but alas, I don't think that's going to happen. I like the Pens and their youth, same with the Blackhawks. However that all being said, once there are no Canadian teams left, I won't be following the playoffs with much intensity.

Thank frick the Canucks won last night! Boyfriend had a rough night.. the dinner he was making didn't turn out because whatever the coating was on the wok he bought started coming off and I think the Canucks gave him a heart attack a couple of times. He woulda been some upset if they had lost given he was already in a crappy mood

Watched the beginning of the Habs/Capitals game. The Canadiens always have young children dressed in their hockey gear skate around with flags and then stand near the benches as the Canadiens players get on the ice.
I lost the last of my respect for Ovechkin when he crossed the ice to come and sit alone on the bench and braked hard enough to throw ice in the face of one of the kids, stopping just inches from him.
The Capitals official response is that the Canadiens should not have kids on the ice. Classy.

Was that really what the Capital's official response was to Ovie? WOW! I mean, I understand he does things bit differently (his celebrating a goal with movement over the stick while it was on the ice was ... different). I love his enthusiasm but sometimes I find it a bit OTT. From an article I read, they suggested that the kid was likely thrilled that it was Ovie that snowed him. That may be the case but to say that the Canadiens shouldn't have kids on the ice - not very classy or understanding IMO.
