Awesome comeback for the Saints! 6-0 baby!!
Wish I could celebrate the Eagles' win...but when they win against a team as sad as the Redskins, what really is there to celebrate? I'm just glad the Eagles didn't lose, like they did against Oakland....
I was at the Redskins/Eagles game. The Redskins are awful. It is sad. At least we won't lose this week (BYE week).

It was really sad and embarrassing to watch the MNF game. Although I agreed with the commentators, the Skins defense ain't all that bad. It's their offense and special teams that stink up the joint. Worst moments:
- Randle-El's muffed punt return
- The bad snap at 4th-and-goal at the end of the game with the Eagles recovering (and the audience's angry boos, not that I blame 'em)
- Campbell's 6 sacks -- I knew the Eagles D would be all blitz-happy, but wow, Jason was running scared all night. C'mon, O-line, do your job. Having said that, Campbell sucks and is NOT the future of this team.
The defense is ok, but they aren't opportunistic. There is talent there, they can play hard and make stops, but they don't force many turnovers. But there is only so much they can do - they must be exhausted because they are nearly always on the field.
There is just so much wrong about the offense. Campbell, the O-line appears to be asleep half the time, the mixed performance of the WRs. Portis's best days are behind him - he lacks the explosiveness of the top backs. I think Campbell might be one of those guys who looks brilliant in practice (otherwise, why would they keep him?), but when the nerves and adrenaline kick in, he gets blind and panicked. And to make it worse, Chris Cooley broke his ankle.

Didn't Brady leave the game during the 3rd quarter?
Uh, yes, but then he came back in (after about 8 minutes out) to play most of (all?) the 4th quarter. Was still there when it was 52-0.

WHO DEY!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
I thought it was very nice of the Cardiac Cats (aka, the Cincy Bengals) to give us fans a week off from having a collective stroke at any point during their game today. :P That was was a good old fashioned blowout of the Bears today and the entire team was clicking on all cylinders. It was a great game by everyone (especially Carson and Cedric) and I am one STOKED Bengal fan tonight. Who Dey! :cheer2:
Your Bengals helped make Sunday one the best days in a while for this Packer fan. Packers win and both the Vikings and Bears lose. :D Now it is time for the Packers to come up big Sunday and beat the Vikings if we want to win the NFC North.

It was a great comeback game after their loss to Houston. I really believe the team we saw against Chicago is the real Bengals team. I was getting frustrated when they could not put teams away like Cleveland and IMO they are a better team than Houston.
Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping the team that showed up against the Bears will show up against the Ravens and the Steelers after the bye week.
Hats off to the defense for playing so hard after losing a key guy (Odom).

Ok, all I saw was that whats-his-name-the-backup went in during the third quarter. In my defense, where I live, just 30 miles from the MA border, we don't actually get to see the Patriots games. Its all Jets, Giants and Bills around here. :blah: I saw more of the Patriots when I lived in Ireland. :drama:
So that yoyo Larry Johnson is suspended again, this time for making gay slurs. Don't know if it's true but I read that he used the f-word and referred to Christopher Street in a negative way when responding to a twitter heckler. I am surprised he is even aware of the Christopher Street movement, but I am even more surprised that people are saying they have lost respect for him. Who had any respect left for him? Bah, he gets a 2-week suspension, but 1 is their BYE week.

I was watching ESPN news for a bit last night and John Clayton was pretty sure that Johnson would not be back with the Chiefs, that the suspension is just the first leg in him being released. Will be interesting to see if that does happen and if another team will sign him.
Looking forward to the Saints/Falcons game Monday night. My sister is having a watching party so that should be lots of fun!! Can't wait, even if its a work night! I'm actually going to be in the French Quarter on Sunday night for an event for the hospital I work at so I'm looking forward to seeing how the night before crowd is doing!
Watch LJ wind up with the Redskins. Ugh.

Hey, I'm from Green Bay! (pouts) ;)
I was rooting for GB, of course. I don't hate Brett, I hate what he did. If I had been at the game, I would've booed him too. :o
