Well, the Raiders gave the Chargers a run for their money which is a lot more than what I expected of them.
I have a soft spot for the Bills. Trent Edwards went to my high school.

 Hapless Bills found a way to give the game to the Drab Old Sweatshirt and his team ... no way did Brady and Co. deserve a last minute gift.
But I'm still tickled by that these Pats seem nowhere near the quality the 2007 Pats. New England may have scraped by Buffalo, but they've got huge problems on defense (Steelers, Colts and other teams have go be licking their chops), and their offensive line isn't going to give Brady nearly the time he enjoyed two seasons ago to find receivers.

A friend of mine can't go to the Steelers-Bengals game here in Cincy a week from this coming Sunday, so guess who FINALLY gets to see her first official NFL football game next Sunday?! ME!!! :D She offered me her ticket and I'm SO on board. She actually gave me one of her preseason game tickets a few years ago too (saw the Colts and Bengals backups since it was the last preseason game, LOL :P) so this is really awesome of her to offer me one of her regular season tickets. :) I'm SO excited (even though it's the stupid Steelers, LOL) and I can't wait to cheer for my guys in person! They may not always be great and stupid stuff may happen to them all the time, but darn it, they're MY GUYS and I'll cheer like crazy for them next week. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Looks like Hank Baskett will have more time to spend with his new wife and almost baby:
The latest is that the team has released wide receiver Hank Baskett in order to make room on the roster for quarterback Michael Vick, who has been removed from the exempt list.

Whee, Heather is probably tailgating as I type this! My advice: Eat lots of hash browns ... they soak up the beers better. :P

:wuzrobbed:wuzrobbed:wuzrobbed Packers. :( They played awful today. There is no way they should have lost given what they are capable of. Congratulations to Heather and the Bengals. :) They were a better team today.
I went to the Redskins game. That was the epitome of winning ugly. They can't score from inside the 10 to save their lives.

My game is actually this coming weekend when the Bengals actually play at home again. ;) The only things I ate today were cake, ice cream, and assorted picnic items at my little cousins' birthday party although my uncle and cousins were all having some beer, LOL
GO BENGALS!!!!!!!!!! :cheer: I thought for sure they would figure out a way to blow this game (botched onside kick anyone?!) but they held on and got their first EVER win in Green Bay. That game was a nerve wracking one though overall and my family and I went through the gamut of emotions all day long. Great to get the win and it's VERY nice to see the offense actually show up this week. Nice job guys!! :cheer2:

Monday night's game was so weird, and the dumfounding efficiency of the Colts was ... well, so Peyton Manning. :cheer2:
Miami executed a perfect "Colts prevention" game ... bled the clock throughout the game, and gained the yards. But, ala all of last season, the Colts -- though short-staffed with mucho injuries -- bent but didn't break. (Stingy on the points, and kept Miami from making even one big play, while my pretend hubby Dallas Clark ripped off a few big plays with Peyton.)
But, wow, the Dolphins' owners brought out the stars! Venus and Serena, J-Lo and corpse husband, Gloria Esteban, Helio Castroneves, Jimmy Buffet, and Tiger Woods, who turncoated and spent most of his time on the COLT's sidelines. :P
