The Cowboys also called 3 time outs to stop the clock. The clock would have run out otherwise. The players got paid millions of dollars to play football, if they can't stop others from scoring, it is their own faults!

Oh, no, :wuzrobbed Coach Ryan's got to cancel that Times Square Super Bowl parade now!

:kickass: It's been a long, surreal week, reading and listening to media types talk about the greatness of the Jets ... and how their defense will DEFINITELY shut-down Indy's offense. :HA!: There are MANY reasons why the Colts were undefeated with two games remaining in the regular season, and why the Jets were only 7-7 with those two remaining games. We saw some of those today.

The final score was about as close as the game could be. NY scored 14 of its 17 points on low percentage plays (wildcat and long pass) that got lucky, and the other three on a field goal following an Indy fumble. Another team with another quarterback might have panicked right after said plays, down by 11 points with 2 minutes left in the 1st half. But the Colts and Manning marched down the field to close the score to 4 points at half-time. And that was all she wrote. :respec Indy D shutdown and shutout NY in the 2nd half.

New Orleans or Minnesota will have their hands full with the Colts' offense, which has really hit another gear in the playoffs. OTOH, their offenses might make Indy's D look pedestrian. Will be :watch:

GEAUXSAINTS

But if they just go home, they had a great season, and I don't mind losing to the Vikings--Farvre is a local and a Saints fan, and Peyton Manning is from La, so however it goes, the Who Dat nation will be represented in the MIA! :respec:

Glad to see Peyton and the Colts win, although I was entertained all post season by Coach Ryan and the Jets.

I'm rooting for the Saints in the second game because of my Farve hate, but hopefully Peyton can take care of business in the Superbowl (although I don't have that much faith in the Indy D).

Wheee! :cheer2:

Love the Colts and Peyton and really love Drew. This Super Bowl will be so awesome. Think I'll have to root for the Saints though, since the Colts have been there and done that.

Manning is one of the best of all time, and they are no longer the Baltimore Colts & may well be the best team in the NFL, but, the Saints have been perpetual doormats for decades, and that makes me hope they win the 44th edition - the same # of years the Saints have been in the league, I think - of the Super Bowl. Here's hopin' it is a good one & not another stupor bowl.

NJL (..rumor has it that there is discouragement in Miami that the Jets lost...seems that they feel that will diminish the number of fans that come here for the party....N'Awlins ain't that far away, neither is Indy, so it won't be all that bad...;)...)

GEAUX SAINTS!!! I can't believe it. I saw some insanely weird calls that seemed to always go in the Vikings favor. It was getting so hard to watch but then when the Saints did their job on D they could not convert. 3rd down conversions were just despicable! The Super Bowl will be amazing, I think the Colts are the ones to beat but the Saints have absolutely nothing to lose and should go for it. Anything can happen and I so hope they win it in a blowout! WHO DAT!?

Hell has frozen over. Saint's are going to Miami. Geaux Saints! I think Jindal (the tight-wad) should declare the Friday prior to Super Bowl Sunday a state holiday and the Monday after Saints Day...if they win. Geaux Saints!
