Bengals..:wall: You could have at least given the Vikes a run for their money.

The Vikings had their crappy game last week against Arizona and apparently it was our turn this week. Hopefully the guys fix all the mistakes, get the passing game going again, and come out ready to battle with San Diego next week. The defense will definitely have something to prove after giving up so many points today. I haven't lost hope yet but dude, they have to play better than that against the Chargers next week. Who Dey?!? :yikes: :scream: :wall:

Saints 13-0! Another game I had to miss because of travel but the iPhone helped us keep up with everything. Another nail biter, I wouldn't mind a few blowouts to finish out the regular season. I need a break until the playoffs from all this stress.

Argh. That was such a sloppy performance. Penalties aside, WTHIGO with the Bengals passing game? Yeah the Vikings have a good defense, but 94 yards passing? In hindsight it probably shouldn't have come as a surprise, the offense has looked out of synch for the last few games. I hope Palmer isn't injured again.....

He said tonight that he's not injured and I trust Carson. It seems to me that the O line is doing a better job with the rushing attack (allowing the runners to gain yardage) instead of the passing attack. If Carson doesn't have time to throw and the receivers can't get open early enough, then the passing game isn't going to go anywhere. I hope they fix this during practice this week or we're going to get rolled in San Diego. :yikes:

I have to say, your Bengals might get rolled in San Diego no matter what. Philip Rivers has never lost a game in December since he became the starting QB. Not one. Un-freaking-believable.

I'll be so torn about that game. I love that the Bengals have come out of nowhere to have such a :kickass: season, but I also love every game that Norv Turner wins as coach, just because of the :blah: to Dan Snyder factor.
The first year that Snyder owned the Redskins, they had a winning record with a few games left in the season, but Snyder wanted Jeff George as the starting QB instead of Brad Johnson, so he fired Turner. Johnson went on to win a Super Bowl and George sucked. Karma is :saint:.

Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry seriously injuried in car accident (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Ag3.nPV1ng7KuUSv9rjEUtRDubYF?slug=ap-bengals-henry&prov=ap&type=lgns)
This is so sad. :( He was finally getting his life together off the field, then an unfortunate arm injury sidelined him from the team, and now this accident happens while he's out of town with his fiance. My thoughts and prayers go out to Chris as he battles his injuries and to his friends and family who I'm sure are going through a crazy emotional time. :(

Sad news about Chris Henry. He was from the New Orleans area and I remember hearing about him from some friends who watched him play in High School. Had some tough years growing up but lately seemed to have turned his life around.

OMG, RIP Henry.
But, oh my, this story is already
This reads like his fiance left him there, at the side of the road, after he fell out. Scared of facing what she'd done to perhaps make him fall out ... or scared of him?
Henry was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after being found on a residential road "apparently suffering life-threatening injuries," according to police.
Police said a dispute began at a home about a half-mile away, and Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup truck as his fiancee was driving away from the residence.
Police said at some point when she was driving, Henry "came out of the back of the vehicle."
Police spokeswoman Rosalyn Harrington said homicide detectives have been assigned to the case but had no further information.
...
Police released two 911 tapes on Thursday. The first was from an unidentified woman who said she was following a yellow pickup truck.
"It's got a black man on it with no shirt on, and he's got his arm in a cast and black pants on," she told a dispatcher. "He's beating on the back of this truck window. ... I don't know if he's trying to break in or something. It just looks crazy. It's a girl driving it."
Just over a minute later, an unidentified man called 911 and said he saw a man "laying in the road" and "definitely unconscious.
He leaves 3 small children - so sad.
Redskins VP Vinny Cerratto resigned and was replaced by Bruce Allen. So the Gruden rumors have begun. Ah, it is almost the offseason, the best time to be a Redskins fan.

Well written (but very long) article from ESPN about the love that New Orleanians have for the Saints:

I'm not going to lie, I teared up reading it!
