Beefcake, how about a vBet on if the Colts, Saints, or both teams finish undefeated?
Aw, I can't say "no" to you, FSfan ...

vBet: Will the Colts and/or Saints go 16-0? (www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=69450)

Steelers and Bengals   :shuffle: ....... what the heck?!!

My husband and I were thinking the same thing... How can you beat the Ravens and the Steelers then turn around and lose to the Raiders...only my Bengals.

Going to the Bengals/Browns game this weekend, they better give me a win.

I am SOOOOO not surprised that the Bengals managed to lose to Oakland. Only the Bengals could do something like that but at least we weren't their first win of the year, LOL

And Domato Peko said that the guys are all mad about the loss to the Raiders and plan to take it all out on Cleveland this Sunday. You may get your wish to see a Bengals win. ;) Have a great time at the game this weekend! WHO DEY!! :cheer2:

Good for the Colts this year especially how they got screwed last year big time. They had the 2nd best record in the AFC yet were only the 5th seed and had to go on the road to play their play-off game (which they lost to San Diego). Seedings for the play-offs should be based on overall record. Total b.s. that a team wins their division at 8-8 and then also gets to host a play-off game.

Both the Colts and Saints would be smart to lose a game before the play-offs. Why have all that extra pressure of going undefeated into the play-offs. Didn't do the Patriots any good 2 years ago.

I think both teams will lose a game before the play-offs. Saints have a good game this week against the Patriots. If they win that one then maybe they will go undefeated but there is a lot of football left to be played. The Colts have played too many close games and have a lot of teams coming up that have won enough games to challenge them. I say they lose at least one game if not two before play offs. I hate the play off system with football because it is 1 game. A team can go undefeated all regular season and have a bad day during their first play off game and they are completely done. I don't have a better way to do it but it would be great if play offs could be best of 3. I know that would involve a lot of time and money, though. Football players need their week to recover.

Actually I like the one game playoff system (the 7 game system in the NBA stretches the playoffs too long, IMO). It's like March Madness in the NCAA. We see Cinderella teams winning, which makes it exciting for me.

I agree that the Colts and the Saints will lose at least one game each before the playoffs begin. That could actually be a blessing in disguise. It will take some pressure off them. Both have had some close calls, and one of these days they may just lose the game. I am picking the Pats over the Saints this Monday.

Arizona Cardinals 7-3. I know that does not sound too exciting but they have a 3-game lead over their nearest division rivals (49rs). They have a decent shot at making the playoffs if they continue to play well. Once they are in the playoffs, anything can happen (like last year's superbowl trip).

Kurt Warner appears to be healthy, after suffering a concussion last Sun. I hope they can beat the Titans in Nashville. Their game after that will be against Minnesota, so they really need to beat Tennessee this Sunday.

WHO DEY!!!!!! :cheer2:

The Bengals beat the Browns today and go 6-0 in their division for the first time in franchise history! :D That is very cool. It wasn't the best game today offensively but they did enough to win and after last weekend's disaster in Oakland, I was just happy to see four decent quarters out of the guys. I swear I worry more about this three game set against the teams with horrible records than I do about any other game coming up against the 'good' teams, LOL  :shuffle:

Woohoo! :cheer2: Wasn't able to watch the game but very relieved they won. Although it is a bit worrisome that they weren't able to put up some more points against the Browns, of all teams (especially considering Detroit ran all over them last week). I'm already biting my nails over the upcoming game against the Vikings in two weeks- probably doesn't help that my boyfriend, who's a big Favre fan, keeps reminding me about it! I can be a pretty sore loser, so it could get interesting.

Anyone else hear that Brady Quinn and Alicia Sacramone are dating??

Heartbreaker for the Cardinals today. They lost to the Tennessee Titans on the last play of the game. Their conservative play calling on defense was the culprit.

Yay, its finally Monday and the big game for the Saints against New England is finally here! Lots of black & gold being supported around the hospital where I work and I know of a few souls leaving early to go tailgate down by the Dome later this morning. Wish I was one of them but will make do going to my sister's for a dinner & the game later this afternoon.

Geaux Saints!!

Looking forward to tonight's game! I wont mind one bit if New Orleans loses because it might help take the pressure off and it isn't as if they have a lot of tough games left. They could release some of that pressure and still win their remaining games to have big confidence going into the playoffs.

OTOH, what an amazing final drive by the Titans, Vince Young, and his receivers! Starting on their own 1-yard line, three 4th downs converted (including one inside their own 10-yard line), a couple of eye-boggling pass plays including the TD one, and ending it all at zero left on the clock.

If Tennessee can get by Indy Sunday, that drive will be the team's "The Drive", as the team has very winnable games left (San Diego would be obvious stumbling block #2) ...

... and could actually end the season with 10 consecutive wins after beginning it with 6 consecutive losses.

Colts down 17-0. Game over? Bitch, please, that's child's play for Peyton, his crop of receivers, and the best scoring defense in the league!
