Thanks for the update on the boy!

Pinotti and Van Garderen confirmed to BMC. (http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/bmc-signs-pinotti-and-van-garderen)

I have no idea how BMC is going to handle all of their riders at this point!

Some amazing pics from Vuelta's Sunday stage up Angliru (http://www.steephill.tv/2011/vuelta-a-espana/photos/stage-15/)

Lots of rumors of Radio Shack and Leopard Trek merging - but it appears negotiations are ongoing and nothing is settled.

Apparently the Leopard-Shack merger is official:

"RadioShack-Nissan-Trek Professional Cycling Team" is quite a long name. I wonder if they'll just go by Radioshack.

Time trial world champion Fabian Cancellara as well as Andy and Fränk Schleck will continue to lead the team in its plans for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. While the complete roster has not been announced, they will be joined by Amgen Tour of California champion Chris Horner, two-time Tour de France runner-up Andreas Klöden, and national champions Matthew Busche, Jani Brajkovic and Nelson Oliveira from RadioShack as well as Robert Wagner from Leopard Trek. The team will continue to be based in Luxembourg.

No JENS?!?! :(

I'm sure they'd want Jens! but maybe Jens isn't sure about this new team. I wonder if Bruyneel will be involved with management?

Andy, Frank, Chris Horner, Andreas Kloden, and Jani Brajkovic?

That sounds like a cooperation nightmare waiting to happen!

Is it wrong of me to hope Conta gets off his drug charge? The idea that Bruyneel will manage Andy and Riis will manage Bert in the TdF is so ironically compelling that I want to see it happen.

Revised Bonnie Ford article about the merger (http://espn.go.com/olympics/cycling/story/_/id/6933632/radioshack-leopard-trek-cycling-teams-merge-2012)

Funny parody of Johan's first memo to Frank and Andy (http://handlebarmustache.blogspot.com/)- except a lot of it sounds like pretty good advice.

Jens! signs with RaNT for next year (yay!)

Jeannie Longo facing 2 year suspension for missed doping controls. This could be the end of her long career.

And the Vuelta wraps up this weekend - with the two leaders only 13 seconds apart, tomorrow could be fun.

Now Longo's husband facing charges over claims he purchased EPO. (http://news.yahoo.com/longos-husband-coach-faces-charges-122124553.html) Supposedly the info came out as part of the Joe Papp investigation.

And the world championships are showing on my tivo so they seem real now.

I don't want to spoil the elite men's ITT in case anyone is planning to watch it tonight on Universal (so I'll put the result in a linked picture). Congrats to the World Champion (https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-8cEFKZxIs3E/Tnn_WfDSV6I/AAAAAAAAA4E/tqI0wcIHDbk/s512/Screen%252520shot%2525202011-09-21%252520at%2525208.11.19%252520AM.png)

And Richmond, Virginia gets the 2015 Worlds after Oman withdraws its bid. :cheer:

Now that it's aired in the US, I'm going to feel free to celebrate.

:cheer: :cheer2: :cheer: :cheer2: TONY! What the h*ll was that? Can't wait to see him riding time trials in rainbow!

Sad for Spartacus, though. What a rough day for him!

Watching documentary on ancient Egypt. @MarkCavendish pleased to learn he'd be considered tall 4000yrs ago, but now angered with evolution.
