I am probably going to be all over for the TT. Not sure about which place is good to watch.

I'm riding up PCH from Malibu to Encinal Canyon down to Mullholand to watch.

I'll be riding in from Venice, if you want to meet up.

sure. I am not totally sure where I am going. I don' t know that area too well, just meeting up with some friends.

ToC Stage 4

BOOM!!! Sad when he got caught be he is so young.

Also, the close up of Powells face when he got dropped from the break was soul crushing. I felt so bad for him, trying to fight his way back to the break and just watching the other three ride away from him. :(

Sadly, I know what that is like. Well, not getting dropped from a break, just dropped from the main field.

ESPN's article on Landis's accusations (http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/cycling/news/story?id=5203604). It will be interesting to see how this plays out and what happens to Radio Shack, BMC and even Garmin. I see everyone toughing it out at first and calling his credibility into question, but eventually I suspect some "lesser parties" will start to corroborate allegations.

I don't see Lance at the Tour this year, so I feel bad for the other people on the team who get caught up in all this.

NY Times article (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/21/sports/cycling/21landis.html?hp). It's a shame with the Giro and ToC going on, this is the only cycling news that will make the papers.

Meanwhile, some of the Saxo riders are enjoying the view in California (http://lh5.ggpht.com/_OvfK9eklqkw/S_C9X_4ZIgI/AAAAAAAAAEY/QEnEC3SNevU/s1280/Podium%20Look%20TOC%20Stage%201%20037.JPG)

Was that on a stage in Silicone Valley? ;)

In other news, Floyd Landis admits doping, alleges use by Armstrong (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703691804575255410855321120.html). Big surprise. :P

Was it his mother who said at the time that Landis couldn't possibly be doping because he was Amish? I'll bet she's going to be happy.

This forum (http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=647308#p647308)which was linked on twitter, has a post with the purported text of one of the emails from Floyd to the UCI with lots of details, although the text of th emails hasn't been officially confirmed.

lol weightweenies. Total wanker forum but not that it matters. I don't get why people get worked up over doping. They all do it, probably not a clean one in the bunch.

After Landis took monetary donations to help his cause and to now come clean? Disgusting. It's one thing to say your innocent, or another to just take your suspension and do your time. But to actually fight so hard, then to come back and implicate others?

Obviously his come back didn't go as planned and now he's just trying for money/attention. I am sure if he had been sucessful post suspension he never would have opened his mouth. How can you take anything he says seriously? He should just go away and stay out of the public eye.

The Giro fun continues, yesterday we had Linus Gerdemann throwing a water bottle at a rider who was attacking, and Cadel Evans coming to blows while riding in the peloton with a rider who was slowing down the chase. Riders seem a bit on edge, and they haven't even hit the mountains yet.

Can you see it? That's me in the middle :D So I went to the Chasing Legends documentary folling HTC Colombia during the 09 TdF. I got to the theater early from the time trial and picked the best seat in the house that I could. The center of the theater was reserved for VIPs. So I picked dead center in the row behind VIP. before the movie starts the director comes out and thanks everyone for their help. How open and awesome the entire team/staff of HTC is and how friendly they are. Then as he's saying that in walks Renshaw, Cav, Eisel and some others who were not riders. Cav sat two seats from my right in that VIP row. He was RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I was like  watching him walk towards me.

Was kinda surreal watching him on the big screen getting interviewed and clips of him winning stages then being able to over at his reactions to them.

Steephill has some great photos (http://www.steephill.tv/2010/giro-d-italia/photos/stage-20/) from the Gavia stage of the Giro. This Giro has been fantastic with the lead changing frequently, and supposedly quiet days turning the race upside down more than once.

I hope this year's time trial isn't quite as scary as last year's with Menchov crashing in the rain (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EV10aQFMEYo&feature=related)

ETA:: In the Sunday time trial, Gibo Simoni wore a shirt collar and pink tie under his time trial suit. He stopped and took off his time trial suit so he had a black jersey with collar and tie (http://d.yimg.com/a/p/rids/20100530/i/r2042679851.jpg) when he road into the amphtheater.

The Giro sure knows how to stage a scenic ending. Last year in front of Rome's colisseum, and this year in an ancient ampitheater in Verona (http://twitpic.com/1shkar).

Basso and his son (http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/367427/2s6796w_medium.jpg)

The winning team celebrates (http://i49.tinypic.com/2s98589.jpg)

These pics were actually from last year, but the "big pics" column does a great job of showing off the beauty of the Giro (http://www.boston.com/sports/blogs/bigshots/2009/06/the_2009_giro_ditalia.html)

And :cheer: to Taylor Phinney for his second U23 Paris-Roubaix win.

I finally was able to see the Giro for the last few stages as I don't get Uni Sports. I was able to figure out a way to get Eurosport coverage. Such an awesome race!!! Bring on the Tour!

Liquigas is crazy stong team and they actually work together..imagine that ;) I wonder if they will have Sagan on the TdF Roster? I foresee another season of drama on Astana with Vino and Contador......won't bode well for either. Can't wait for July.

Cyclingfans (http://www.cyclingfans.com/) almost always has links to live coverage for the big races.

And if there is anything on Unisports that you really want to see, just let me know and I can tape it. A very nice poster here taped the whole TdF for me for a couple years before I got VS on my cable lineup.
