I don't get the Sundance Channel. Is there any way to watch it online?

Saw the initial episode -- the Pop Star on Ice documentary of the 2006/2008 period -- and loved it...especially Johnny and his best-chum Paris Chalmers in the bubble-bath tub. Johnny is a hoot, especially when joking with the fake Russian accent. LOL!

If Johnny did not exist, he would have to be invented. Totally delicious.

By the way, whatever happened to Paris Chalmers? Is he still skating?

One of my favorite :2faced: moments was during the press conference after the 2007 Nationals LP when Weir had this eat sh!t look on his face and shook his head "no" when Lysacek egotistically said to reporters, "actually, I've been skating better than that in practice." I wanted to . Interestingly, 2007 Nationals is when I really started to dislike Evan's personality. That's when he really started taking himself too seriously and really seemed to get bigheaded, I think, especially with the way he was trying to promote himself over Johnny as the safer, more masculine and respectable choice.:blah:

Oooh, thanks.

And as for the weight issue, I wouldn't be quick to blame this on Galina (although she very well may encourage it). I remember Johnny looking absolutely emaciated long before he even met Galina...:(

The impression I got from the film was that he is a tad weight-conscious. It comes out long before he went with Galina. He is talking to Hill about it at one point in the movie and I thought she seemed less than thrilled at his statements about losing weight. Made me think that maybe one of the problems here is a need for a few more calories. Both physically and emotionally.

I thought it was very interesting and well done. Though I was in a million depressions for Pricilla. I revere her, and it's unfortunate that he just couldn't listen to her anymore. Kudos to them both for bring able to separate amicably.

I watched this on Sundance and thoroughly enjoyed it. There's a little bit of Johnny I didn't know existed - he can be a brat! I thought it was cute when he said that he and Paris are like a married couple but without the sex! They do get along so well. Glad I discovered that my cable provider actually had this channel!

I don't want to get off topic but I don't see what is so awful about this statement. He just won his first national title and was very excited. What is so wrong with that? Meanwhile Weir was rolling his eyes... which was funny but let's be real. At least Evan didn't say at the last Olympics that Elene Gedevanishvili had more maturity in her little finger than Kimmie Meissner could ever hope to have (or something like that).

Anyway, this was my second time watching PSOI and it's just as good the second time around! :)

This is the first time I've ever heard that reference (and I've been following Johnny for a LONG time). Is there an exact quote?

He said it during an episode of that Olympic Ice show from four years ago. I'm sure of that.

I remember him liking Elene, but I don't remember him comparing her to Kimmie.
