Just wanted to point out that Estonian television (ETV 2) is showing Pop Star On Ice this Sunday at eight o'clock in the evening. So the peeps who are in Tallinn for Euros and staying over the weekend, you can even tune in for some Johnny if you want.

Is it just me or does Johnny not take pics all that well?

He's not a bad looking guy, but when I look at his face in photos sometimes I picture him in things such as a bee costume or with little antennas swinging above his head..

LOL. Weir always seem to be striking a pose when looking directly at the camera. There doesn't seem to be a natural expression with him.

Had a conversation with James Pellerito and David Barba about Be Good Johnny Weir. They are up to their eyeballs in post production work in addition to following Johnny around. They will try to spend as much time with Johnny at the Olympics as is permitted by the organizers.

Johnny's Angels had a reception for him after the medal ceremony and he was just delightful; as always, very funny. We were trying to teach him Yiddish!

I am oddly captivated by this. It's very well-done; I'd think it could easily hold a non skating-fan's attention.

Yes it does. I saw it last summer with friends who know nothing about skating and they loved it. One just sent me info about the series which he plans to watch. When you look at some of the other reality shows and the people they follow, this one stands out as a real gem.:saint:

I saw the premiere last night and LOVED IT, everything about it!, and it reinforced my love for Johnny's personality. :) He truly seems like someone I'd want as a friend to hang out with and he is so, so funny and I think he's a great guy! It also made me really miss his skating from 2004-2005 when I used to be such a big fan of his skating. If only his on-ice persona could match his off-ice persona, I'd find his programs so much more entertaining and interesting, which I think has been lacking since the 2006-2007 season. His displeasure for COP shows when he's on the ice ever since the 2006 season and many times when I watch him now, I find myself telling him to sell it more and to look like he's enjoying it more. Like Priscilla Hill and Brian Orser, I find myself thinking that he could be so much more and accomplish so much more on the ice if the desire, love, attack, and joy for the sport now was there and if he knew how to play the COP game better. C'mon, Johnny, you're not that "old." :) I wish him well towards Vancouver! :cheer2:
