People post all kinds of funny things about themselves in their Facebook profiles - the "celebutante" label is obviously a joke.

After seeing him in the film, I'm not convinced that he thinks it's a joke.
And as for his uselessness, the scene where Priscilla Hill was trying to set up an important planning meeting with Johnny while Paris sniggered and making smart-ass comments in the background....that was kind of it for me as far as Paris being a useful addition to the proceedings.

What a treat for fans in Japan! I doubt that the US fans will be so lucky because Sundance plans on airing (at least parts) of Pop Star on Ice. Perhaps after the Olympics?

I got the distinct impression that Weir was trying to avoid the conversation, and that Paris' role was to run interference for him.

ETA: I thought it was the moment where Weir looked as childish as anywhere in the film. On the other hand, if I were Hill, I never would have had that conversation with Paris around. I would have asked Weir for a moment alone.

It remains to be seen, but I may make an appearance in an episode or two:wideeyes: since I was in Japan at NHK. While it was never my intention to do so, I did find a camera in my face a couple of times.

Wow...great photos! The one with you and Johnny is sweet.....

Is it just me or does Johnny not take pics all that well?

He's not a bad looking guy, but when I look at his face in photos sometimes I picture him in things such as a bee costume or with little antennas swinging above his head..

I think Johnny's incredibly photogenic. But anyone can look bad in a photo and I think sometimes his smile gets a little pasted looking (he poses for LOTS of photos) and the lighting doesn't always suit his coloring. In general, he's adorable IMO. He doesn't usually try to "butch up" but when he does --it's accidental, I think, he looks quite handsome.

You may be right. He's much better looking in person than in most photos.

ITA. I think that it is much the same with Evan. Looks kind of odd on television and in pictures but is quite cute close up.
