I love how she edited out my question...

Groshkova: Your question is the first one up in the second part of the Q&A! It's up on Lifeskate now:

I love when Johnny says, "it was so beautiful to see my face THIS big on the screen..."

But what is that fluffy THING that landed on his lapel?

Hairstyle: NOT attractive. Please don't repeat it, Johnny.

Susan at Lifeskate has posted a video of the first half of Johnny's Q&A session at the New York premiere:

http://www.lifeskate.com/

In part 2, did Johnny admit he was gay? Is he openly gay? I mean, why question of homophobia?

No. He was asked a question about homophobia in the sport of figure skating and he answered it.

I can't see the hairstyle staying in place while skating, jumping.

i know this might be a question that has already been answered but where and when will this documentary be visible to the public?

If you can attend one of the premieres listed on the website, www.popstaronice.com, then that is one way. It will probably be televised on Sundance by the end of this year with a followup set of eight episodes leading up to Nationals and the Olympics.

Johnny was asked about the Skate Canada/Elvis Stojko comments.

He said 'The man who said that is someone who I used to watch on TV. He skated in purple pajamas to the Bruce Lee soundtrack with Karate moves. I'm not going to open a can of pork and beans on the ice'.

I saw this on Lifeskate, and what a great response from Johnny.

I loved how he put all this masculine/feminine nonsense into context simply by conjuring up the image of Elvis in his "Dragon" costume. That was brilliant. Purple pajamas.

Hardly the epitome of masculine attire, some would say--or maybe just Elvis. ;)

Omigod, I just saw realized Pop Star on Ice is playing at Silverdocs this weekend. Wondering if I should make my boyfriend come see it with me, or if that would be too mean.

Is your boyfriend a skating fan? If not, I'm curious to find out what non-skating people think of it.

Do it! (Or see it yourself!)

You never know, he might enjoy it; people who aren't huge skating fans who have watched the movie have given it positive reviews.
