View Full Version : Figure skating related Twitters
Yeah, but now we have a new theory as to why! :D
Actually, it has been brought up/suspected before (ADD) in debates, but IIRC such discussion was quickly shut down. This is probably the closest thing to a confirmation we've gotten. I've known tons of kids with both ADD and ADHD throughout my grade school years so I can usually tell after spending enough time with someone. IIRC almost all took some sort of med for it.

"Closest thing to a confirmation?" It's some other skater I've never heard of making a causal use of a phrase.
And this debate about what he's saying on twitter is no different than what I've said all along about the Net as a whole: Do you want to show off that you have access to someone famous, or do you want to respect their privacy?

Yeah, good point- I myself was a bit surprised that he tweeted that part. But the thing is this- now, it's out there, and you can't take it back.

The swept-back pompadour is about a million times better than the hideous mullet-with-bangs look he wore all last season, so I have no complaints.

I'm all for individuality, but he's so darn cute, I just wish he'd find a style that looks a little less ridiculous. :shuffle:

This look is so much better than the mullet and before that, the way too long hair that made him look like a 9 year old girl. I think he looks cute in the recent pictures...though I admit that I would love to try to style his hair myself. :slinkaway

Its not even close to a confirmation. Hell, I've been told (by people who are basically as qualified to make the diagnosis as Buttle is) that I am "sooooooooo ADD," when I most certainly am not. People throw that diagnosis around so loosely and frankly, it just sounds like an excuse 90% of the time.

I totally agree. That look flatters him, even though it might be a bit more conservative.

Why am I not surprised that Jeff works well as a cartoon character. He could have his own series. Although the only title that comes to mind at the moment is "Beavis and Butthead".

Buttle could be referring to his job as a choreographer for other skaters.

Thanks! I never thought of that. Choreographing 4.5 minutes which optimizes COP and plays to a skater's strengths and matches the music could be a daunting task!
