SGU? Is that Stargate something?

Yep. Stargate Universe airs at 9/8c on Syfy. It's a decent show.

rats - and I just discovered (after what, 5 months? :shuffle: ) that I do in fact get FOX with my digital tv converter/antenna...I just get it on a really weird subchannel, and it's on a 30 second delay

Oh well, I can just catch up on last night's Flash Forward ep instead. Thanx for the reminder

Dollhouse is on tonight and it's going to be great considering it's Sierra's back story!

Well it looks like all Dollhouse's 13 episodes will air. The next few episodes ratings will determine if the show airs in November but at least we know all 13 will film and are being said will air.

Looks like it won't be airing in November sweeps (http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2009/10/23/joss-whedon-speaks-out-regarding-upcoming-dollhouse-absence/)

That was an intense episode - great to get Sierra's backstory and BIG :cheer2: for Boyd's involvement in the episode - not only with Echo, but the way he took charge at Nolan's house. I even didn't totally hate Topher.

This episode showed that the strength of the show isn't the Echo/Paul conundrum but the Dollhouse itself and all the convoluted lies and ethical high wires that make it up. I didn't miss Paul one bit in this ep (although I can't wait to see him in relationship to Mellie's guest appearances in future eps). I'm sad that there won't be another ep until December, but that was a great cliff hanger.

ps I really don't like Adele's haircut this season.

I know it was supposed to be serious but I about pml when Adele told Topher that he had no morals about toying with people's lives and that it wasn't a bad thing because he took good care of his toys.

Rumour has it that Dollhouse was cancelled today. The rumour comes via some of the writers on the show.

Whether or not that's true, this season will end with episode 12 - epi 13 will not air. It will be on the DVDs. That last bit is confirmed.

ETA: also hearing from some of the crew - the show is cancelled.

ETA x 2: confirmation from Joss: http://whedonesque.com/comments/22328#349440

That's too bad. I know I'm in a minority, but I actually like this show better than any other Whedon show. (For one thing, it had the least amount of Whedonisms -- by which I mostly mean cutesy little tricks with language -- which I always found gimmicky and annoying.)

Dec. 18 - 8:00PM-10:00PM (Episodes 9 & 10)

Jan. 8 - 9:00PM-10:00PM (Episode 11)
Jan. 15 - 9:00PM-10:00PM (Episode 12)

How Fox is counting the episodes, and how Joss is counting them, differs. I'm not sure of the particulars of that (others who are interested can look it up), but from what Joss and others have said, the show was originally designed to end at what he calls episode 12 (which Fox lists as 13), but they wrote some sort of additional episode, which Fox does not plan to air.

:( One of the highlights of my week and especially Friday Night, as I never go out.

This was a really great show that just went to the wrong network. It would have worked out much better on SciFi or as an HBO/Showtime series.

Dushku had a contract with Fox. That's why it was on Fox.
