The drama over Liverpool's ownership is still not over and has taken another turn. Runner's up billionaire Peter Lim of Singapore still has not given up hope of taking over Liverpool. Lim says his offer is better because the money will come from his own resources rather than from loans.

The new stadium being built in London for the 2012 olympics have two for London's football clubs vying for the right to call in home. Both Spurs and West Ham wants to called it home. Also the NFL are building a new stadium in LA that they plan to build to FIFA specifications so it can be used for 2022 World Cup should the USA win the tournament.

The Italy vs Serbia game has been abandoned because of the Serbian fans behaviour. There were hooligans who kept throwing fireworks and flares onto the field. Italy will likely be given a 3-0 victory by deflaut. To bad that Serbia has to suffer because of the behaviour of a handful of thugs.

For the first time, I actually had a great feed early on so that I could watch the anthems, but of course the game was delayed, thanks to the hooligans! I had no idea what exactly was going on at first since the feed was in Italian and didn't want to lose my feed to check my twitter. I had just limited my tweets on my phone too!

I can't believe those thugs injured their own GK! The Azzurri are my team, but I actually feel bad for the Serb NT! If they were even fans, maybe they were just ultra-nationalists nutters!

Certainly not one of footie's better days and really terrible day for Serbia football. The ref did the right thing by ending the game and I really thought that these days were behind us but guess not. It seems like none of these matches will be shown on any of the three football channels I get. bummer....

I switched from the Italy-Serbia no game to the Spain -Scotland game just in time to see G. Pique score an own goal thus equalizing the game, 2-2! Fortunately, for Spain and Pique, F. LLorente came off the bench and scored the winning goal for Spain.

You don't stream, Buzz? It can be frustrating, but sometimes it's better than nothing.:shuffle:

No I am affraid I do not. I usually rely on the highlights available on UEFA website or on tv. :( Saw Dirk Kuyt get a nasty looking ankle injury, or in other words, more really bad news for Liverpool.

FIFA's president will meet with the British PM David Cameron at number 10 Downing Street next week. The British PM is trying to gather Blatter's support for the English bid because some polls suggest that the Russian bid is gaining momentum.

There is another twist in the Liverpool saga when the club's current American owners Hicks and Gillet filled an temporary restraining order in a Texas court against the sale of the club. Not sure if a restraining order by an American court holds any water in England but this ensures the story continues. Hopefully Liverpool can avoid bankruptcy.

Liverpool's debt is due today 1500 GMT. Either someone buys the club before that or they will lose 9 points but they only have 6 so far.

New England Sports Ventures owners of the Boston Red Sox are now the new owners of Liverpool FC. They just beat the deadline the now former owners Gillet and Hicks have launched a $1.6b lawsuit against the Liverpool board. But for now the crisis has been averted and RBS bank will get their money back on time. Whether or not the new owners will run the club effectively or run it into the ground like it's previous owners is still to be seen. Liverpool have at least brought itself more time to recover.
