Those UN inspectors will next be travelling to England next. Their job will be most easy in England since that country already have all the stadiums they could possibly ever need for hosting the WC.

Brazilian teenager Neymar has signed on to Chelsea for $36 million. Sounds like a lot of money for sure a young player. Hopefully it works out well for all concerned. And Rafael Van Der Vaat maybe heading to Man U.

FIFA inspectors will start their tour of England tomorrow but the English PM will not be there to greet them because he is on vacation. Prince William is off on military duty and David Beckham is in California training with his team the LA Galaxy. However the English bid committee sees no reason to worry and are confident they have it all in the bag. We will see. It most certainly is in their favour that all the infustructure in there already. But personally it believe that is not the main concern of FIFA. I think FIFA is more concerned with spreeding the game to new territory.

The first five qualifiers of ten for the CL are: Werder Bremen, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Braga FC, Partizan Belgrade, and Basel FC. The losers move on to the Europa League I believe. Speaking for which CSKA Moscow played the only EL qualifier today and won 2-1 so now moves on to the group stage of that competition. The other five CL qualifiers will be played tomorrow.

The 2018 WC is generally believed to be heading to Europe and England is the frontrunner to win the bid. While Russia is it's biggest competitor, however, their bid got a serious knock today and from their own hands no less after a photo of a banner bearing a nasty racist taunt aimed at a black footballer surfaced today. Many fans says based on the level of racial bias in the country alone, that should disqualify them from hosting the cup in the near future. But I am not sure giving them the cold shoulder would do anything about the problem. Perhaps hosting the WC is just what it would take to do a little soul searching. But England's bid seems getting stronger and stronger as time goes by.

Spurs is hammering Young Boys 4-0, Ajax is leading Dynamo 2-1, and Auxerre is leading 9 man Zenit 2-0. Zenit I doubt has had a decent shot on goal the whole game. Kobenhaven and Zilina are both leading 1-0. Just a couple more minutes left...
