45 years later Inter wins the Champions League after outplaying Bayern and 2 goals from Diego Milito! The tifosi of Inter are like c-r-a-z-y, I saw a lot of grown up men wheeping of joy and laying in the middle of the streets, they just can't believe their team won it! Needless to say, Milano isn't sleeping tonight, with all the cars and motorcycles going around. People will be waiting for the players to come back from Madrid (they are leaving at 1.30 AM) and at 2.00 AM the stadium opens for all the fans so that they can celebrate together...It reminds me of 4 years ago when Italy became world champion...Even a fan of AC Milan like me couldn't stay indifferent :D
I saw a sign today outside a bar advertising that the game was to be shown live. The notice said; "Inter Milan vs Baron Munich live!

Nike's World Cup commercial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idLG6jh23yE) is soooo good.
I found a lovely article by the NYTimes on how S.A. is making this tournament their own. Tickets sales have soared since FIFA have allowed them to be sold over the counter.
JUst wanted to correct one little thing the CL post game show mentioned. Greg Forest said that there was no Italians in the Inter team that played on the feild but that is not true. Mario Balotelli is Italian, and has represented Italy in their under 21 team. Some has called for Lippi to include him on their WC team but unfortunately for the youngster he was not included in the team.
Canada plays Argentina in Buenos Aires today. Good luck to our guys and hope they do not get beaten too badly. LOL
Turkey will know this week if they will get to host the 2016 European Championships. The Turkish state says it will underwrite all expenses and it wants to host the tournament much more badly than any of it's rivals. It also has strong support from some members, while others says Turkey is more Asia than Europe and should not host it. I think they should be given the chance to host it, especially since money appears not to be a problem. Good luck to them. :)
I have found the promotional videos for some of the countries bidding to host the 2018 & 2022 WCs. I have to admit that Australia's is my favourite by far. :) Host countries for both tournaments will be anounced at the same time. So here are the videos:
Juventus is touring North America and will play Toronto FC tonight. Juventus played New York last week and lost 3-1!!!
Argentina beat Canada 5-0 but they played without star striker Lionel Messi. Portugal drew 0-0 against Cape Verde, and South Korea beat Japan 2-0. South Africa drew 1-1 with Bulgaria,

Park Ji Sung's goal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFU6NZjhd_0&feature=player_embedded
In Korea, he's the only person more famous than Yeona. ;)
And he plays for my favourite team Man U!!! :cheer2:
Does anyone know why the 2018 and 2022 WCs are being given out at the same time?
Here is a list of all the stadiums to be used during the WC.
Just a few quick notes:
