There is one game on right now and that is Rubin vs Barca and it is at half time 0-0.
And so it ended with a 0-0 draw. A great result for the Russian minnows, but a really sucky result for the defending champions. It means for the time being Rubin heads their group. LOL
Well Liverpool is in trouble after they drew 1-1 with Lyon, but Arsenal won 4-1 over AZ, Inter finally won 2-1 over Kyiv and are now on top of their group. Here is the full results:

There was an incident involving Rangers fans in Bucharest. They were seen destroying seats etc. Too bad because other than this, it had been a great competition so far.

Spurs is giving a 10 day trial to Chinese striker Chan Siu-ki. Hope it works out for him. If it does, Siu-ki will be one of the very few Chinese players in Europe. Could only be a good thing for the sport in that country.
A preview of tomorrow's WC play-offs. There have been some nasty scenes in Egypt before their home game against Algeria. Algeria says four of their players where injured by a mob. But Egypt denies responsibility. Just glad nobody was seriously hurt.

Sorry... posted that before breakfast... :slinkaway Playing against themselves mean the Ukrainians are guaranteed to win. Seriously, I am surprised at some of the teams in this play-off, Ukraine did really well in the last WC, France is former champions, and Portugal is has so many great stars on their team. Well for now we will have to contend with Russia vs Slovenia. The other games start later.
Slovenia seems to be getting the better of Russia right now.
Bilyaletdinov (sp?) scores, 1-0 Russia
Ivory Coast leads Guinea 2-0, Nigeria leads Kenya 3-2, Cameroon leads Morocco 2-0, Mozambique leads Tunisia 1-0... Slovenia is protesting quiet noisely over a ref call.
