Check out this first tumbling pass:

Love the double layout through to double back!! Vladimir Novikov did it successfully at the 1988 Olympics:

Watch some of the other soviet guys too - Gogoladze does a triple back as 2nd gymnast up, Kharkov scored a 10.000 as last up.
Someone has uploaded videos from the 2010 Russian men's championships.

I know a lot of people were probably watching the American Cup and/or some NCAA meets this week-end. But I was in Montreal at the Gymnix International which was also taking place and I have been uploading videos to my youtube page if anyone is interested:

Wow! Where has she been? That was great. If she is consistent then she should definitely factor into Nationals and Worlds!

That was awesome!
I remember being shocked at what an Alicia-clone her coaches let her become when I first saw her, but she's good. I like her, I just wish her bars were better so we could have both her AND Alicia on a team. :(

Anastasia Grishina UB EF (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7x8BW0aIsX8)
Her FX is charming (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40DAjxkgKqc)
I love this girl. She's got amazing potential. Everything she does is so good! I hope she and Komova can stay healthy and have a great rivalry. I found the juniors a lot more interesting than the seniors at Europeans.

I love when the bars were so close together. Those routines are so interesting and so much fun to watch. Kinda really makes me wish it was still that way.
Grishina is absolutely stunning on bars. :swoon:

Both Komova and Grishina are amazing. But I love Grishina's form on bars. Its just lovely to see, because we don't see form like that really anymore.

I agree, watching the juniors at Europeans was much more interesting than the seniors. Komova & Grishina will be something to behold in 2012. Komova especially has star quality. If she doesn't get injured I would be surprised if she didn't win a bag of medals in London.

It had the same start value as a single.

It didn't deserve a 10 but thankfully the judges recognized how much more difficult it was than the fulls.
