Ana Silver from the Maribor Cup 2009. At the end of the video Ana sits on a sofa and awaits for her score. Is that the "Kiss and Cry" area that was supposed to be introduced in gymnastics? Anyway Ana is certainly one to watch out for. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ce_-3do-ghs&feature=related

Really reminds me of Liukin but without the same difficulty.

Ana Silva.
I agree, she has beautiful lines, but she suffers from the same problem as the other brazilian girls these days: lack of dificulty. I think that the coaches are focusing on execution now instead of big tricks with the new girls...

Who are the qualifiers for the US Championships?

I think the list hasn't been finalized - there are still a few girls hoping to qualify through Classics.

I've heard Larson and Shapiro are out due to injures. IIRC Larson sprained both ankles on a bad landing  and Shapiro has had issues with her foot for awhile.

Routine? Try Career. She was a legend, the only time she ever *vaguely* cracked a smile was when she saw that she'd beaten Milo and Amanar in the AA final of 96. But even then, she was pretty stoic. ETA: She smiled on her wedding day (http://foto.rompres.ro/public/watermark.php?imgid=874622) however.

Aww, pretty Gina at her wedding! She also hinted a smile after she won the FX at the 97 worlds, and then thought better of it. Personally, I *loved* GG - and I'm not really sure why.

If you want to hear the actual song: Hijo de la luna by Mecano (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nxtc_FSAQE), and the French version (sung by the same singer who couldn't speak French but somehow managed a 99.9% perfect pronounciation): Dis-moi lune d'argent (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHtz9YWjXxY&feature=PlayList&p=1A0266411C7E9C2F&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=21).

I love this song and couldn't really concentrate on the choreography the first time! I'm glad someone chose this music as a floor exercise. It could probably also make a nice figure skating program! :)

An interview with Khorkina and Mo Huilan, where they talk about competing against each other in the 90's.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTHR9FoyAO4

Khorkina is so  she loves to talk about herself. Mo is every bit as beautiful and poised as she used to be. :)

A nice beam routine, I love her lines and flexibility:

Yeah, really nice - I'd like a little more toe pointe, but great extension/leg positions and she gets great lift off the beam.
