May I put in a request for some free association starting with a dinner party menu including cantaloupe and coq au vin with braised asparagus on the side?

High time this thread was revived. It started a while back with inspirations from various news stories/headlines. Who else has heard about the controversy in the US regarding alcoholic drinks with caffeine?

WA bans Four Loko (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1328865/Washington-bans-blackout-calling-high-energy-alcohol-drink-dangerous.html)

Anyway, the news of states banning or thinking about banning such drinks, nicknamed "Blackout," is generating quite a buzz.

What a stir! People in Washington must be shaken. I bet there'll be cheers when that legislation goes through, after it has made its way from the bottom up to the governor's desk.

Did you hear about the game show that takes place on the streets of New York? A steer walks up and down the streets, taking people to their destinations, while asking them questions and awarding them money for the right answers...It's called Cash Cow.
